<VV> Powerglide Rebuild

Hi Pete, One piece of advice (actually 4) is to :
1. Have the appropriate shop manuals (I know you do).
2. Get a copy of the movie made by Harry Yarnell and WATCH it a couple of times. I watched it and made notes with "bookmarks" on where in the movie some issues were shown and discussed.
3. Get a copy of the book by Bob Ballew on the Corvair Powerglide. It is available from vendors and from the Corvanatics group for about ten bucks.
4. Have the confidence to do it. I did mine and it's been fine ever since. You will have to make a few tools but it was not hard to do. I also took my time doing it (something a mechanic on the clock will not do). Good luck.
