<VV> cold air intake WAS Insulators WAS Carb question

The way I see it , all the cooling air is outside air, it comes in through the vents and is not heated until it goes through the fan and across the engine. Right ?

advice.  Could you give us a clue or better yet, refer us to images (the  tag
