<VV> Turn Signal Harness Attachment

The wires that run down the steeering column end intwo plastic connectors.  They plug into one plastic connector that comes from the under dash wiring harness.  This plastic connector has a metal attaching clip on it.  My question is where does this clip attach to?  Thanks for th ehelp.
