<VV> Oil pressure Regulator Piston/Valve

Bob, got a Clarks replacement valve and hd spring in my car with one of
their fuel pumps and it is working great. Have 1300 miles on the
engine. Oil pressure light always goes out just before I release the
key on start, and it starts on first turn. Mark Durham

Hi,

I thought I had lost the oil pressure regulator valve during the recent
engine disassembly so I ordered a replacement from Clarks.

As is often the case I found the original at about the time the one from
Clarks arrived!
Anyway, I noticed the replacement from Clarks has a small raised "button",
perhaps an 1/8 inch or so in diameter on the bottom while the original was
flat.



Any advice or concerns as to which one I should use?
