No rocket science needed here; just multiply the mileage by 1.6.

Mike,

You should have been a math major. I thought it was hard to convert from
miles to kilometers:)

Bill,
Do you have a GPS? Mine can tell me my exact speed. What I did was just to
entally recalibrate the speedometer. It is a heck of a lot less expensive
than
rying to find 14" tires with the correct diameter.
the speedo is .33 off 10 X 3.3 = 3.3 + 10 = 13.3 mph
30 X 3.3 = 9.9 + 30 = 39.9 mph
0 mph =13 mph
0 mph =26 mph
30 mph =40 mph
0 mph =53 mph
0 mph =66 mph
0 mph =80 mph
0 mph =93 mph
Can you make it up to the convention on Wed and Thur?
MIKE KOVACS

B"H
i all. My 66 Monza came with two things among others: 14 inch wheels and
a
roken speedo drive. I replaced the left front bearing cap and of course
the
peedometer started working again...I think the 14" wheels make the speedo
eading pessimistic; it says 30 mph and I'm really going 40. Anyone know
if
t's possible to re-gear the speedometer for 14" wheels? Has anyone done
this
uccessfully?
hanks guys...Bill Hershkowitz 66 Monza Sport Sedan 110 PG A/C
