The couple of times That I've had the same situation,the 10 gage red wire connector was at fault.pulled the connector apart and cleaned the "Pins" and put back togather.Cured the problem.In 43 years of playing with these cars,I've had one problem involing the H.R.P.T., a lose screw. Paul Chapman
