It's not my conversion. It was done by a CCF member out of AZ. The guy
has serious skills, check out this video of a DSM eclipse:
http://youtu.be/K6sZg3iL5EY

It uses: 1232 LEDS

20 customer build circuit boards

22 power supplies

7 pulse width modulators

8000+ hand soldered connections

Regards,

Joel

LED's CAN be made to work, you just have to know what you're doing (like
this guy) and not use junk. These are custom made, not PNP style stuff.

Notice how snappy the LED lights are compared to the incandescent bulbs slow
bright to fade out.

Don't use these. EVER. There is no LED replacement bulb that'll be as
bright as the original incandescent bulb. Why? The optics for LEDs are very
different than for incandescent bulbs. Too many people have wasted their
money on this stuff, only to be VERY disappointed.

Now, if one were to mount a single 3 watt LED in a post pointed directly at
the lens, and mounted at the same spot as the original filaments, well,
you'd have a better than average shot at making this work. But there isn't a
plug in out there worth a damn.
