It looks to me like you’ve used a chisel at an angle to stake the heads....you’ve even created some holes there....IMHO, you’ve weakened the area adjacent to the seat and possibly created some hot spots to boot. My mid-engine sand rail
runs 15 PSI boost all the time for 22 years now and has never dropped a seat. It’s a tri-ported 140, but we used 5/16ths deep seats and didn’t stake a thing.
Just an opinion.
