<VV> how many miles do you drive your Corvair a year and on one trip?

I drove my 66 Monza the 200 miles to Sturbridge.  Going there was absolutely no problem. Coming back as I previously mentioned, the accelerator linkage got stuck which was a serious safety issue, but when I found it, it was simply a "put the choke linkage back the right way and screw it on tightly" issue.  Total repair time:  3 minutes.
I've had my e-fuel pump for over 2 years and Pertronix since I got the car.  No trouble from either quarter, and I like the idea that my car doesn't stink from gas leaking out of the numerous new fuel pumps I've installed and I don't have to worry about points wearing out either.
I drive her every weekday to work and home, about 5 miles each way.  Never had a car that I've enjoyed more than this one.  Every day is joy, it's like "cruise night" instead of "commuter nightmare."
Like any car, you have to MAINTAIN your Corvair properly and you will get YEARS and DECADES of dependable transportation and classic-car fun.
Just my two cents.
