<VV> 140 exhaust valves

Mike,
 
The 140 hp intake and exhaust valves are larger in diameter than all other  
Corvair valves.  They will fit only in 140 hp heads.  The higher  
horsepower of the 140 engine is due in large part to the larger valves and ports  
which allow much better flow of air/fuel mixture and exhaust gasses.  There  
are other differences between 140 engines and all others but this should 
address  your specific question.

Why are 140 exhaust valves different from  110 exhaust valves? Could 110 
exhaust valves be used on a 140 engine? This  engine is a bit modified for 
increasedperformance, Higher comp, unshrouded  valves and an otto 20 cam..
