<VV> Press fit for LM rear bearing assemblies?

Guys,
I need to swap out some used rear bearing assemblies; and would like to disassemble them for re-greasing prior to installation.
Can I use Clark's tool for removing the yoke on an EM axle to remove the U-joint end from the hubs; or is the press fit too great for that?
Are both hubs common (no reverse threads or anything)?  I know the backing plates are NOT common.
