These elevated compressor mounts were used on the 140 motors to clear the
secondary carb; '65-'67.
They are highly prized today as they can be put on ANY engine; makes service
to the plugs a joy.

There was a special mount that elevated the AC compressor so the A.I.R.  
pump could go underneath.  See the picture in the 1973 parts manual.   The
two 
units shared a belt IIRC.  I always wondered how much that elevated
compressor affected the center of roll:)  I worked on two cars with the
option.  
I probably liked them only a little more than the average  mechanic.

I  doubt it. The AIR pump sits where the compressor would have to go, also
another belt, would have to be added to the two on the pulley in the crank
shaft. besides it is not described in my '69 users manual.  Mike  K.
