<VV> Fc rear shock

All, My van is not here right now and I am needing to do something about
the rear springs not being level side to side and I just happened to come across
some coil over shocks. What is the length of the shock when at rest? and has anyone used coil overs on their van? Any help would be appreciated. Jimmy
