But Charlie... 1960-1963 were "Ill handling"... just no more so than any contemporary American car , as proved by the DOT...


In '62-3  while working at a used  carlot after school... we'd  use chain to prevent the rear wheel tuck / oversteer /spinout...


 After doing that the only European Sportscar it couldn't out corner was the AH  100 /3000's...


 And Fitch started with the earlies...  why LM  Fitch's are only slightly better than a stocker...  just better Tourers...
