<VV> 4 Speed or not???

Or the transmission will have a "welsh" plug on the bottom if it's a 4 speed ('66-'69). A 3 speed does not have this plug, just a casting boss. I am not aware of any cast in part numbers that tell you how many forward gears your transmission has. Others may know differently. Do you have a copy of the very good (and inexpensive) publication called "The Junkyard Primer". If not, get it. Lots of good information.
