What is really needed is a Tweety for the fastest old blind guy in a White Corvair from Indy. LOL
How about a tweety for fastest Time Trial (track day) novice? Might spark some interest.

All,
First, good luck to all of the racers at the Corvair Olympics. I have missed last years Convention, this year's  MItty and the Olympics all due to home upkeep expenses and car repair/preparation.
But I am determined to make it to this years Convention, starting with the Gingerman track event.
The  track event on Monday of the Convention is ridiculously low priced at $150 entry. The Mitty entry is 4 times that!  Spectators are free.
All safe cars can enter, ie, battery hold downs, brake lights and good seat belts.
It's a rare chance to be on the track with other racers and no chance of car to car  contact.
It's been a tradition to offer Tweety (underdog?) unoffical  trophies for categories not necessarily covered in the class rules. Many people have generously donated Tweeties to the cause---they are very hard to find.
Besides the obvious Top Tweety (fastest time of the day)
     There have been Tweeties for:
     Fastest 90% prepared car
     Fastest councours car
     Best looking racer
     Ugliest racer
     Hard Luck
     Fastest Early
     Fastest street driven
     Worker
     Angel
And my favorite; Tweetie's Choice where I ask the racers and spectators for their choice--
         ---Any Reason

I am open to any suggestions.

Hope that you don't pass up this rare opportunity.  Come out an support us, we are going to support all of the other Convention events.
I raced Gingerman(non Corvair event)  once in 38 deg. rain. My Corvair was the overall fastest car in the rain.

Warren
