Congradulations to the "cookie monster"  Good show, Clark.

Also drove mine 150 miles yesterday. No problems, of course.

Subject: <VV> Drag Racing Top Eliminator at the Corvair Olympics

Just wanted to let everyone here know that my buddy Clark
Hartzel was the Top Eliminator at yesterday's Corvair
Olympics Drag Racing competition. Clark worked for months
and months on a 1962 Monza coupe only to come up short as
the deadline neared. Since Clark already signed up and
paid the entry fee we had to get him a suitable mount for
the event. With only days to go we went to the storage
barn and fired up a previous project; a Corvair powered
single seat fiberglass dune buggy. I put a generic
"select-used" engine in the buggy last Fall. Clark asked
me if it was a 95 or a 110. Who knows, at least it runs!
And run it did. Clark bested everyone else there and came
home the winner. Congrats to Clark! A true Corvair
Enthusiast.

Now put down that keyboard and get out and do something
with your Corvair!! - Caveman Pete
