nah.
the spare merely needs to have a similar rolling radius (if you're going 
to run it on the drive end for any distance)
and should have enough capacity and remaining life to get you around 
until you get the fancy one fixed.

and, it needs to clear whatever kind of oversized brakes you're running, 
of course.
