<VV> 1963 SPYDER CONVERT ~ Only the VIN can tell for sure?

Wouldn't the VIN tell if it was October 1962, an early 1963, or very late
(after '64s were online) ?

No, that would be early build '63.  Changeover was more like late July/early
August, but hopefully we'll get a more precise answer.
