I don't care for low-riders. But that's me.
I don't care for Corv-8's. If I want a classic Chevy with a V8, I'll buy
a Bel Air.
In fact I don't like modifieds. Someone might derive immense satisfaction
from planning and making modifications.

However I've often said I'm not a numbers man and have planned my own
(mostly mechanical and electrical) modifications to my Corsa.

We have a fellow in our club who put a V8 engine in the front of an early.
It would not be what I would do but he did a nice job.

If someone wants to modify their car and they do a good job then they
should get credit for a job well done even if it is not what anyone of us would
do.

It Can! … If that is the way you want to do it, Go Ahead :-) Just don't
expect everyone to do so! Some of us just don't like it. Perhaps because
it does not appeal to the eye to some and others may not like that image
projected to the public. Whatever the reason, we have the right to express
our opinions … just like you.

Over the years, there have been many customized Corvairs which have
received great recognition for both their styling and craftsmanship.
