Thanks Karl, I do my best!

Tomorrow is my 33'rd birthday and as near as I can tell from the VV
archive, as of last month it's been seven years since I first appeared on
Virtual Vairs! I'm going to use this as an excuse to reflect on my
experiences involving Corvairs. VV is how I went from a kid completely in
the dark about the neat old car he had purchased and was driving to a true
Corvair hobbyist. Thank you to the many on this list who have helped me
over the years!

I've since taken a very serious interest in Corvair knowledge, especially
regarding their history and all the misconceptions about them. I'm now
hooked on autocross thanks to CORSA, and I'm doing my best to learn how to
troubleshoot and repair anything that goes wrong with them. I remember the
first time (a couple years before I found VV) I stumbled upon the website
http://corvaircorsa.com/intro.html and I saw the tag line "Four carbs or
turbo-charged?"... I remember the excitement I felt in suddenly learning
that there were cool high performance Corvairs out there to pine for. That
day I read about Corvairs extensively and decided my answer was "four
carbs". It was a few years before I was driving that four carb Corvair
Corsa, and now I smile every time I think of that web page and that I can
now answer "both!" (though I haven't actually driven my 180 Corsa yet).

Again, thank you all for your patience and help, I think I've reduced the
frequency of needing to be told "look for a vacuum leak!", "check the
CORSA Tech Guide", and/or "Read Bob Helt's books!" by a fair margin! =)
