I have no experience with the bulb you mention, but if it is an 1157, it has 
to have the bayonets in the right spots to fit the 1157 socket on the car. 
An 1157 is a two filament bulb (tail light and stop light) and the bayonets 
are there so that it is installed correctly for each filament to function 
for the designed in purpose.
