<VV> stolen drivetrain

Hey Guys,
I was shocked yesterday when I went to pick up my drivetrain, it was gone!
Stolen, probably for scrap. Now I am at a crossroads. Do I try to locate
another complete drivetrain, which I cannot afford right now, or do I give
up and sell the truck? I am open to any ideas or advice. I am feeling very
frustrated right now. Finally after years of delay I actually thought I
would get the drivetrain back in the truck and maybe drive it soon! Guess
it was not meant to be.
