<VV> Off season projects

Hi all,

This year was a little different for us, we really had a "car season" that wrapped up last weekend with a local autocross. I got to 9 autocrosses, a couple shows, and of course the highlight of the year was the CORSA convention in Kalamazoo. Along with that Trevor took our '66 to a number of evening meets (cruise nights), a drift event, and some scenic drives. It was a lot of fun, but with it over I'm thinking about next year (is it really going to be 2014?) and the work I want to do in preparation for the events.

Our '62 wagon was the big project last year, I still have trim to install and that will finish off the exterior. I need to seal the cowl, but that will probably have to wait for warmer weather so the sealing materials will set up ok. I think my only other off season item will be to grease the rear wheel bearings.

The '66 needs her Corsa emblems and I have interior bits to install. She's not getting much else, but it does need the lower windshield panel installed and I'll need to get a windshield at the same time. Not sure when exactly I'll get to this.

That brings us to the '65, my poor neglected autocross car. My real goal right now is just to get her drivable again, I have a basic 110 to put in it. I think there are enough other items to do that this is the major project for the winter, if it's ready to drive in the spring I'll be happy. I picked up a pair of 6 ton jack stands from HF this weekend for the job, not that we need that much capacity, but for some additional stability. I'm going to set it up for SCCA's STC class, which is also where I run the Neon.

Finally, I have the engine project for the van - I have a lot of pieces for it, I'm thinking this might be the thing to push forward when it gets too cold to work outside. I'd really like to do some camping next year, it was a lot of fun.

So, there's my list. Anybody else?
