Yes, and the dash ground strap is yet another issue, feeds a long of
tangential devices (backup lights, heater fan, instrument lamps, and more)

The connector behind the dash does not agree with either Monza or the Corsa
electrical diagrams in the 1965 GM manual (figures 47 and 48?)

Lots of fun investigating this stuff!

Check the ground strap connection for the dash.  A common problem area on
LMs.
