<VV> '63 Heavy-duty suspension; rebound straps canceled

In any discussion of R.P.O. 696, the heavy-duty suspension option for '62 and '63, it should be noted that the rebound straps were eliminated for model year 1963.  In the Options section of the 1963 assembly manual the rebound strap assembly instructions bear a marking over top which reads; "CANCELED".  In the fine print at the bottom of the page is a note dated 8-10-62 that says; "SHEET CANCELLED".
