I just got a new gas tank for my 65 monza convt.  It came from Spectra
Manuf. with a Ni-trene coating to help prevent rust.  The car is just a
daily driver not a concours car.  Should I paint the outside of the tank
before installing it, or just put it in as is?  I know most rust comes from
inside out but I was just wondering .....
