Thanks JR.  No leaks or seeps and the drop lights are supported off the floor so they're stable.  They also work well in the rear engine bay to keep batteries warm.  But your point is well taken.

I'd not use an incandescent or halogen bulb around fuel (gas).

Maybe a hair dryer or electric space heater - both with fans to blow the 
warm air at the intended target without putting either of them directly 
beneath the target.
