When we bought our current home, I had to put 2 cars and some parts in a
storage unit until I could build my new garage. I slid my 140 engine down
some 2 X 8's off my car trailer into the storage unit doorway area. Needed
to move it about another 3 ft., so I sucked it up, grabbed it with both
hands, and gave it a big yank. "POP" was heard (and felt), from my left
wrist. If I moved that wrist certain ways, it was also painful. My Hand
Specialist put it under an Xray machine so I could see my bones, and said she saw
nothing wring with it. (never mind the pain.......) She then took a big
hypo - and stuck it in the side of that wrist joint and started counting
10...9...8...7...6...5....... while I grimaced. Some kind of steroid
stuff. I got a little relief out of that, but 3 yrs. later, it still wakes me
up in the early morning hrs. as I have to be careful what positions I put
it in. I guess it's with me for the duration.

MORAL: Even if you THINK you are Superman, you may want to re-think that
- before doing something stupid.
