Chuck: I dismissed almost all of Nader's pronouncements after I figured out he was so wrong about the Corvair.

I'm sure you are correct about what he claims he invented/promoted. As we all know claims and the reality of history are often not in agreement.

Harvard Law School is one of the first places, if not the 1st place, to embrace the concept of a "living" Constitution. I'd have to go check some history books to confirm what I think I remember about what I thought I knew on the topic...but not going to happen anytime soon! But I'm sure he was a good student.

There were judges on the other side of the bench who enabled him and others, including the lawyers for the real or imagined victumns of the Corvair.

Oh well. See you this weekend in Indy

Historically yours.

                       James

I would emphasize that Ralph "claims" he was at least a catalyst, if not the creator..from his time at Harvard Law School
thru creation of various orgs devoted to tort law..against corporations (recently he was intereviewed and talked about GE not paying income taxes but getting back $2-3 B from gov't due to methods of his attnys-his comments), and his attempting to build a museum in CT? about tort law, envsioned by some as a self-tribute.. In his eyes, he is responsible. In my view, Nader was and is a dishonest opportunist. He did at least strongly help lead the way toward distorting tort law.
My memory may vary.... LOL!

Trying to help a fellow club member replace his BU switch. Car came with some hacked up wiring. New switch from
Clark's has wire that is too short to route it as originsl owner had. Assembly Manual Section 12 C6 shows some switch set up that uses shifter. Never saw anything like that on a car. This switch does in fact go into the trans. Anybody got a pix or diagram showing correct routing? I know there is cnnector in the tunnel. Thanks.____________________________________________________________Never Eat This CarbLiterally Never! 1 Easy Tip to Increase Fat Burning, Lower Blood Sugarhttp://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/53151ce3bbba61ce332d0st02vuc
