Thanks Harry. 
I failed to mention that it happened twice before, first last September,
after a 3 hour trip to upstate NY and then again last December after a short
ride around town. With that in mind, and with your diagnosis, I think I’ll
replace it. It’s been in the car since I bought it in 2001.
