Grant,

Hopefully you understand that if the bearing is noisy, greasing it is only a 
temporary "fix".  You need to replace the bearing (or will soon).  If you do 
not have access to a press, you can buy the top cover with the bearing 
already installed.  Of course, either of these options would mean removing 
the "turkey roaster".
