Smitty Says;  I have known a great many people who ,not knowing better, 
started up their old barn find on what was in the tank and drove away with 
it.  Also had a club friend who spent 6 months overhauling his engine, and 
when he fired it up, it varnish stuck all the valves.   I guess you never 
know.
Al I looked at the picture of your tank.  Aren't you afraid the gas will 
evaporate with the top cut off like that?
