<VV> Seeking Recommendations - seats "proof of concept"

I replaced the stock seats with sacrilegious seats from a 2000 Ford ZX-2,
with brackets to mate up the 1967 Corvair holes, without messing up the
floorboards.

They don't have any Ford emblems on them, and they were "free" from a couple
of Fords I scrapped to fund my Corvair habit ...

Matching up different seats takes a little planning, and salvage yards may
yield a lot of unique options, but it was well worth the effort, and I now
have 1996 Ford Probe seats in my 1965 Monza convertible, which are so much
more comfortable, and look great.

I'm looking for some kind of GM seats to replace these (hopefully with more
appropriate colors), but they were available as my "proof of concept" and I
can preserve the original seats for someone else!

Charlie

Subject: <VV> Seeking Recommendations

I am the original owner of a 1965 Monza 110 convertible that I've been in
the process of restoring for a little over 10 years. Efforts are now
complicated by a move from California to the MidWest, Ames Iowa to be
specific.

I am looking for someone to finish up mechanical and cosmetic work and have
found Skunk River Restorations. Does anyone have any knowledge or
experience with them? Or, for that matter someone else in the general area?

Also, while I have the original bucket seats I have long pondered replacing
them with ones with a higher back / headrest. Any recommendations? I'd
prefer ones that "slide right in" with minimal modifications.
