On a Late Model, The under Hood and Trunk Lights are Different.

The Trunk (ft.) any older (70`s and 80`s) GM Truck Light from any GM car (mostly the rear drive ones) will work. You will notice there is a round hole (about 1") toward the drivers side of the underside of the Trunk Lid with a small hole below it. (its near the Latch) That is where the Light goes, and the Mercury Switch works great. The hardest part is snaking the wire through the trunk lid underside and getting the wire to come out the hole in the middle of the hood. The wire will run along the hood lip in the Window Washer (if so equipped) Clips and go in to the Car where the Windshield Wiper Wires are routed. To be correct the Wire should be Orange. The Fuse box has a always Hot Terminal (use a test light to find it) that the Truck Wire Plugs into, so the light works when ever the Trunk is opened.

The Hood (r) the Engine Compartment Light on a Late Model is Corvair Only, because it looks like a normal GM (60`s 70`s and 80`s) Engine Compartment Light, but the Corvair is mounted up side down (the mercury switch works in reverse of a normal GM Engine Compartment Light) and has one mounting hole. The wire is routed out the grommet for the Tag Light and to the Hot lead Terminal near the Battery on the Frame. Note: a Factory Corvair Only Engine Compartment Light has a Fuse Holder in the Power wire.

GM Four Way Flasher is plug and play. There are tow kinds a Factory Installed, it's the type that mounts near the Parking Brake and the Switch is facing down. To see it you almost have to look for it under the dash, and you will see the red knob, near the Parking Brake and Parking Brake Warning Light. (my Corsa has one) The other is a Universal GM or Chevy with the Chrome Bezel and Red Knob. Normally they are mounted on the lower dash (these on FC`s are normally drilled and mounted on the Steering Wheel Support Bracket) These are also designed to just plug into the Wiring Harness. NOTE: These are hot items and now hard to find. NOS in a box can bring $500.00. ones removed from a car, depending on the condition can bring $50.00 to $100.00.

Parking Brake Warning Light (pre 67) This is a GM / Chevy car and truck item that they used on all Chevys in the 60`s. its not Corvair Only. The hard part is mounting the switch. Its mounted on the top side of the Parking Brake/Pedal/Steering Wheel support bracket. (Mine has been hand tight fro years) People will always ask you what that light is for. These are hard to find and can bring $60.00 to $100.00 + depending on Condition. NOTE: the flashing unit is in the Blub. If mine ever burns out where will a find another blub ?

My `65 Corsa has the "Total Factory Light Package" but I have added the "Light Package" to many other Corvairs over the years.
