Hello Mark,

     Just gotta say Thank You! for posting your rebuild on the web, especially the step by step removal in the forum. I’m doing my 63 PG sedan and your clear step-by-step details of the removal is what got me to where I am now. Better than any book or video or forum info around…and now I stumbled on this thread just when I was wondering what to do after i finally get the cross member out…get that rusty heater box out and do what you said in this post - Perfect! Thank You again!
      My only problem now is that i want to possibly convert to 4-speed and I would need to cut/weld a different sub-unit on cuz the 4-speed is longer than the PG…it’s been much more work than I thought, without that!…I’ll probably just clean/paint and put it all back.
     Thanks again! Everytime i got stuck i turned to your post and it got me through it!
