<VV> Lower shroud damper doors

Does it make any difference if one side damper door has a little less tension than the other side 
Will the side with less tension open before the other side and make that side of the engine 
run cooler. 
Will I get less heat if one side opens to sooner than the other side 
Will it hurt the engine.
