Fixed. Somebody forgot to put the clevis pin into the rod, so the rod slipped out of the lever...hence no clutch action. Wait till I get a holdt of him!!!

  Subject: strange clutch problem

I just moved the Fitch out of the garage after a 17 month engine rebuild. The transaxle was left in.

Moving the car, the clutch seemed to grab a bit high. When was going to restart the engine, the clutch seemed to lose the heavy pressure I expected. I engaged the starter for moment, and the car bucked forward.

I know I got the shaft and the throwout fork properly attached as it was a troublesome cuss. I got the pin, retainer and the cap on the housing assembled. What the heck did I do wrong?
