All:  It is my understanding John did say he wanted the Phoenix to go to the
Saratoga Museum.  Unfortunately, he did not put that in writing. 

Let that be a lesson to all of us.  'nough said? 

Good news is the man who bought it is a long time friend and admirer of
John.  He also has a EM & LM Fitch Sprint, bought from a past CORSA
president and good guy.

Tim Colson, unfortunately museums don't have any money to buy expensive
vehicles. When John Fitch died, his one-off Corvair custom Phoenix was
supposed to go to the Saratoga Museum in NY but his family sold it for big
bucks!
