<VV> Why do I have Vacuum to my advance at idle?

Why does my engine, a 110 HP, have too much vacuum at idle and pulls the vacuum advance? Carbs are balanced and the advance is OK.

1  Is the hose connected to the VERTICLE Tube?  That's the "ported vacuum" [ only opens above idle]   NOT THE  HORIZONTAL ONE!! [ that goes to the "choke brear / pulloff ]


2   How low is your idle?   And what did you use to Balance the airflow?
