<VV> Drive In movie experience

Unfortunately, the city in which I live no longer has a drive-in. The property was too valuable for development, so hasta la vista baby to the drive-in. We still have the sigh for some reason (more that 20 years after the drive-in closed). I miss drive-ins. Great fun when you're a little kid and mom and dad dress you in your PJs pillows and blankets in the back seat. Even more fun when you're a hormone driven teenager. My city shows summer movies behind a building big enough for a screen, but it isn't the same.

Does your city/town still have a Drive In movie nearby?

If so, you just might
get an opportunity for a free movie night. Hagerty
insurance is promoting
this for antique/classic cars of all marks.

There will be one in the Chicago
area - not far from where Pheasant Run
where the 2001 convention took place.
Keep your eyes peeled for an email
announcement from Hagerty for a possible
one near you.

The LINK below will show you what that might look like. It is
for Friday at
the Cascade Outdoor in the Chicago
area.

This
should be clickable, but if that does not work then copy and paste it
into
your browser window.
