<VV> Early 3-55 standard rear end

I would check the case. If the bearing race spun in the case I  would scrap it. I rebuilt one with out carefully checking the case condition. Guess  what I was doing again the next day?Paul Fox

I burnt the pinion bearing up in my rear end and replaced it with a 
complete unit. MY question is, the old rear end is it any good to rebuild, I 
don't want to throw it away if it can be rebuilt.
