I am surprised at the number of people who don't understand the judging. A car does not win points, it gets points deducted for less than perfect. Once a car is classified, the judges don't care what the class is. They are looking for dirt, rust, crud, bad paint and any imperfections. The cars all start out at 100 points and go downhill from there. The awards are just as big for modified as factory stock so it doesn't matter what class it is in. Also the car is judged to a 100 point standard. If every car in a class scores 97 points, they all get gold awards. It is a silly system which makes it impossible to know how many awards to order. If 100 cars in concours all score 96-100 points, they all get gold awards and no silver or bronze are given out. So basically there is no 1st, 2nd, 3rd in class!
