Can't assume anything until it's appraised....if nothing else, it can be 
used on a motor stand for breaking in new engines. Don't throw anything 
away!
My opinion only.....ymmv!

Mike in most cases the outer race of the pinion end bearing spins in the 
case.  If your new race doesn't fit tight in the case you might as well 
trash it.     Smitty
