If you come to my garage, I will show you the main components. They are not
on a car, I bought the pieces from another club member, who bought them on
Craiglist in Virginia! Even other Corvair experts around here have never
seen them, as Virginia, while having many other landscape variations
(beach, ocean, mountains, etc), is lacking in deserts!

According to the book " the (in)complete Corvair story" by Dave Newell on
page 57, he mentions RPO K46 as being available for '65 and '66 Monzas and
500s and not with A/C or 140hp cars. It came with the "desert air package"
( oil bath filters ) plus - " a giant duct system that took al of the air
coming in through the firewall and routed it down into the fan opening in
the top shroud, eliminating virtually all dust from the engine
compartment." Have never seen one. Was wondering if anyone else remembers
seeing one and/or has a picture of one. Thanks.
