The other day, while driving the '60 in the rain and getting totally sick of listening to the windshield wipers do the "bunny hop" across the windshield countless times because it was only a sprinkle or two, I had a brainstorm.  Then after installing a light over my parts washer (an old ringer washer tub filled with diesel fuel) I saw how to do it.  I think.
What I am talking about is this: Why not create my own version of " intermittent wipers".  I think I can route two separate wires from the hot source (instead of the stock one) to the wiper motor.  One wire would contain a toggle switch for the wipers to work normally.  The other would contain a push button switch.  Then on those drizzly days, after turning on the stock wiper switch,  all i'd have to do is push the button and hold it a second or two to wipe the windshield.  No more bunny hopping wipers!!!
Thoughts and opinions welcome.
