<VV> LM DASH PAD BASE QUESTION

I'm getting ready to replace the dash pad on the Monza. I haven't removed the current pad setup yet, rather I have prepped a 2nd base piece and planning to put the replacement Clarks pad on that for installation. This base clearly has 4 factory-mounting stud posts but there is a question as to whether they normally have 6. Does anyone have any info on this?  Were the late dash pads changed at some point or are they "one size fits all"?  This one does not look damaged or altered, but I'd hate to get this replacement piece ready only to find out the mounting studs won't line up.
