<VV> Spyder cylinder head temperature gauge

I'm doing research on the Spyder & Corsa cylinder head temperature gauge
system. I've recently run across the June, 1962 Chevrolet Service Bulletin
that says to install a "resistor assembly" in the wiring of the gauge
circuit. The bulletin says this resistor assembly was omitted during early
production and that without it, the cylinder head temperature gauge would
read high.
This resistor assembly doesn't seem to show up on the '62 - '64 Corvair
wiring diagram (including the small Spyder supplement). But the '62
assembly manual does show it installed in the wiring near the engine
firewall.
Does anyone have a Spyder with this resistor installed? Have you measured
its resistance?
It is possible that this applied only to the early production (prior to the
middle of April, 1962) and that later production Spyders had different
gauges.
Thanks in advance.
