<VV> Want rolling chasis with engine removal?

The engine is down. I took off the shift cable but did not notice the
speedometer cable at the differential. How does the speedometer cable come
off? I took the 7/16th bolt and the shim off but it still wants to remain.
I've tugged on it but it isn't moving. Pull harder?
