<VV> 66 Corsa carpet color

I'm not doing a total restoration but the carpet has several stains on it and would like to replace it. I have cut a swatch from under the door sill. I've never replaced a carpet before so my question now is what do I do with this swatch? It doesn't match anything from stockinteriors as I've had them send me some samples. Did Chevy publish a list of carpet colors that were used in 1966? I think if I at least knew what the color was called might help. Does a carpet color code exist?
